Australian lotteries: review 2020.03.16-22

The prize pool was $26,180,564 in total for the draw on Thursday (19 March). Overall, 1,479,132 people shared it. Similarly as during the last month, no one won the jackpot (which is received through acquiring 7 main numbers plus Powerball). However, 11 players won $65,939 each for getting 7 main numbers (the 2nd best combination) this week! The probability to score this result was 1 in 7,078,443.

On Tuesday (17 March), the prize of $20,988,600 was divided between 288,712 players. There was 1 lucky player who scored 7 main numbers correctly and thus landed the jackpot worth $15,000,000 - many congratulations! The probability of winning this prize was 1 in 45,379,620.

These games were live on Monday (16 March) and Wednesday (18 March). The prize of $4.9M was divided amongst 173K players. 1 player won the jackpot worth $1,000,000 on Monday; another player repeated the same result on Wednesday. Congratulations to both of them! The probability to land these jackpots was 1 in 8,145,060.

The draw last Saturday (21 March) gave away the prize pool of $90,681 in total. This sum was shared between 3,910 people. Similarly as the week before, no one won the jackpot. However, 3 players got the 2nd best prize ($6,666 each with the chance of 1 in 55,556).
