Who runs this site

Lotto Draw is operated by Fyrma Digital. We are an independent publisher of lottery results and are not a lottery operator. If you have a question about this policy or about information we hold, write to [email protected].

What we collect

You do not need an account to use this site and we do not ask you to register. There are only two ways information reaches us:

Server logs. Like most websites, our servers automatically record technical details of each request: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the page you came from, and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the site running, diagnose faults and detect abuse such as automated scraping. They are kept for 30 days and then deleted.

Messages you send us. If you email us or use the contact page, we receive whatever you choose to include, usually your email address and the content of your message. We keep it long enough to deal with the enquiry and do not use it for anything else. We do not run a mailing list.

What we do not collect

Numbers you enter into the ticket checker are used to produce the result on screen and are not written to our database, not linked to you, and not retained after the check. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how long people stay, roughly where in the world they are, and whether anything is broken. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes an abbreviated form of your IP address. We use it in aggregate and cannot identify individual visitors from it.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data with the browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop the site working.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense, and third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons and your IP address to collect information as a result of ads being served here. Google uses advertising cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other sites on the internet.

Where we have not opted out of third-party ad serving, other advertising vendors and networks may also serve ads here and use their own cookies. You can review and change what Google shows you at My Ad Center, and opt out of personalised advertising from many other vendors at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.

Opting out stops ads being personalised. It does not remove ads, and some cookies are still used for basic functions such as limiting how often the same ad is shown and detecting fraudulent clicks.

Who else sees this information

Google, as the provider of Analytics and AdSense, processes the data described above under its own privacy policy. Our hosting provider, OVH Cloud, stores the server logs on our behalf. Beyond that we share information only where we are legally required to, for example in response to a lawful request from an authority.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Because we hold so little, in most cases the answer will be that there is nothing tied to you beyond a server log entry.

Australian visitors have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 and can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Fyrma Digital is based in the European Union, so visitors in the EU and the United Kingdom also have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to their national data protection authority.

Age

Lottery games are gambling and are restricted to people aged 18 and over. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Links to other sites

We link to official lottery operators such as The Lott and Lotterywest, and ads on this site link to advertisers we do not control. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy. Read it before you hand over any information.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or which services we use, we will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no archive of previous versions.
