Australian lotteries: review 2020.02.10-16 (updated)

The prize for the Saturday (15 February) draw last week was $45,167,667 in total. Overall, 1,105,644 players shared this pot. The jackpot was worth $2,500,000 and 8 players managed to bring it home with the odds of 1 in 8,145,060.

During the draw on Thursday, 13 February, the total prize of $5,844,042 was distributed across 323,906 players. Although nobody managed to win the jackpot (which is acquired through getting 7 main numbers plus Powerball), we are really happy for 2 players who won $80,939 for having 7 main winning numbers during this draw!. The chance to score them exactly was 1 in 7,078,443 whereas the jackpot had the probability of 1/134,490,400.

Last Tuesday (11 February), the prize of $3,253,664 was split across 165,134 players. No one got the jackpot (7 main numbers) which had the winning probability of 1 in 45,379,620. However, 3 players won the second best prize (6 main numbers plus 1 supplementary number). This one was worth $30,740 for each player.

The jackpot in the Monday draw last week (10 February) was worth $1,000,000 overall. 1 player managed to get 6 main numbers and got this prize. The probability of this jackpot was 1 in 8,145,060. Overall, $2,535,060 was divided amongst 76,020 players. For the Wednesday draw (12 February), 1 player also got the same jackpot. Also, 85,435 players split the total prize $2,624,648.

Last Saturday’s draw (February 15) was worth $132,145 in total. It was divided between 3,901 players. One of them won the jackpot (i.e., scored 6 winning numbers) worth $33,332.

During 3 draws last week (10 February, 12 February and 15 February), the prize pool of $112,361 was divided amongst 23,293 players in total. No one won the jackpot in any of these games.

No one won the jackpot during the only draw last week (Monday 10 February).

There was a single draw on Wednesday 12 February last week. No one brought the jackpot home.

As this lottery is ongoing everyday from Monday to Sunday, it provides players with more opportunities to get a prize. However, no one won the jackpot last week (10-16 February).
